At the end of April we sailed NORWEGIAN BREAKAWAY across the pond and then spent a few nights in NYC. I have finally managed to get through are the pictures, see here if you have nothing better to do for a while

I enjoyed the crossing very much, but my experience is going to be quite different to that on her regular run out of NYC. One thing which hit me about her layout is that the jogging track runs through part of the outdoor eatery Uptown Bar & Grill. There were few joggers and not really the weather for eating outdoors on our trip, so not a problem, but I was wondering how many trays of food go flying in warmer climes. The track is not really wide enough for 2 people either.

Very nice pictures, as usually.
Norwegian cruise line seems to take a more 'reasonable', 'robust' approach than other lines. It seems as if the emphasis is less on gimmicks than on the overall concept of the ship.

Nice photos but I found it kind of strange that the sea viewing ports in the deck were patterned to look like tempered glass that had already shattered

Yes Timb, looking at those photos it does look odd.. however I did not even notice it at the time, it felt as if I was just looking down with nothing in the way of the water and me. I wonder if the camera picks this up more than the human eye? What was amusing was standing there and watching the number of people who automatically walked around and not over the glass - with comments "Oooh, I'm not treading on that"

I've seen them 'live' and I did not notice the pattern either.

Might be a stains from cleaning them with the wrong stuff?
