Hey CT Friends! I've been working on this project for several months...started filming in August aboard the Celebrity Summit, then filmed a special interview in Miami, and some footage during my December cruise. It's the first of a four-part series about the Ocean Liner-themed restaurants onboard the Millennium-class ships. The first one is about The Normandie Restaurant on the Celebrity Summit. In Miami, I spent the day with Demetrios Kaparis, who is a very important executive that worked at Chandris and Celebrity. Demetrios was responsible directly for the refitting of the America / Australis, and also the Gallileo / Meridian, the Amerikanis, and particularly the Millenium-class vessels. With all the digging and research I found some rare photos that tie the story together about the La Normandie statue, and the Normandie panels on the Summit. I'd love to get your feedback on this as it is the premier episode to be featured on The Cruise Channel:
