Hi, I am going on my first cruise on the Gemini in July. Any suggestions as to what sightseeing tours are best. Also anyone know what time you can board ship as we arrive in Singapore at 1pm and cruise doesnt leave till late at night.

When I went on Gemini a couple of years ago we were able to board about 5pm. If you get to the World Trade Centre earlier, you can check in your bags and then go over to Sentosa Island which has a few tourist attractions on it. You can eat dinner on board I think.
I liked the Kuala Lumpur shopping tour - lots of bargains.

What are your ports of call on the Gemini? I did a similar cruise over there last year. I think you can actually get on board at 4pm and dinner is on board. Sentosa is a great place to go Julia is right. It has a light rail that goes around the Island and has about 12 stops. You can go to the aquarium, which is great, a butterfly exhibit (not so good)a beach, a rain forst walk and not forgetting the "Merloin", Singapore's symbol which is 10 storeys tall and you can go up to the top. It is a great way to spend your time. Tell me where the cruise is going and I'll give you some information on shopping and where the best buys are.
