For the first time on a cruise should you pick inside cabins or outside ones. Any suggestions?

Outside are best...you get a view! Inside are OK if you are on a budget. Sometimes both are the same size. A balcony is great, but often cost much more! A midship/mid deck cabin can be more stable in rough seas.

Sometimes if you book early, when you arrive on board you will find that you have been upgraded by a grade or two.

The choice is yours...

Buzzard,

I am like Malcolm, Outside rooms are the best. If this is your first time to cruise i think i would go with a room that has a window that way you can look out and you wont feel closed up. Inside rooms are great like Malcolm said if your on a budget, but myself, i cant really stand to be closed up with no window or balcony, I have to be where i can see out.
