'Norwegian Moon' - because it's romantic and represents nature. As I'm British, mu opinion does not count as far as NCL are concerned!

I said Norwegian Pride. I entered anyway but I live in Ireland so... What a stupid rule anyway! They could have given a cruise only vacation where you arrange flights and hotels yourself!

I kind like Norweigen Ascendancy. Ha ha

When they were having the Voyager naming contest, I voted Ascendancy of the Seas.
And guess what. They liked the Star Trek name. Go figure.

I was going to say NORWEIGAN RHAPSODY, but it sounded derivative. So I suggested NORWEIGAN RAPTURE...(I will ignore all groans), listen, if Carnival can name their silly ships ECSTACY, FANTASY, ORGASM or whatever, why not NORWEIGAN RAPTURE? Sounds relatively tame...

Malcolm.. I just read on another site, that one of their new ships will be named Norwegian Moon. I don't think it was the one in the contest, because I read it before the contest cut off date. I don't really know. But it's a good name!

It was my understanding that the name the ship contest winner was picked yesterday. Has anyone heard anymore about this? I could not find any info on NCL web site.
