Which cruiseline's logo do u feel beautiful or ugly? Please tell me, Thank You!

Beautiful logo in my mind is STAR CRUISES, CARNIVAL and RCCL. Their logo are colourful and clear.

Ugly logo mmmmmm......belong to COSTA CRUISES.

My most favorite logo of all time was that
of Compagnie Generale Transatlantique [or
French Line].....it was attractive, chic,
and very eye-catching.

Ugly.....I never liked Hapag-Lloyd's although
I very much liked the ship Europa [1983]. I
also disliked HAL's "wavelette" thing that
was used in the '70's. The present logo
which is a former logo used again is much
nicer.

I like Cunard's logo. It is simply, not flashy. Simpily, It is elegant.

Peter P, I see why you don't like the Airtours logo, as it looks REALLY awkward on the Carousel and Sundream, and a little weird on Sunbird, but I think it is one of the nicest, especially on the Seawing and their aircraft (Seawing's funnels look a little like aircraft tails). I also really like the Royal Caribbean anchor, esecially on the Legend of the Seas, and NCL's is rather classy.

I am not too fussed on Carnival's, as it looks a little cheap, and Thomson's is abhorrent, that is if you could call those god-awful stripes a logo. I also dislike the big Cunard lion. It looks very pretentious (how appropriate), but at least on QE2, although it is big, the colour is quite discreet.

The Crown and Anchor of RCI is nice but my hands down favorite is the Sea Witch of Princess Cruises. I mean how can you beat their advertising, Love Boat reruns were and are aired everywhere.

I also think that the new logo on the Celebrity Millennium looks cheap(lack of better word). The logo looks like it come from the X-men comic. In fact, the entire color scheme on the Millennium makes the ship looks out of place on a "upscale" cruise line.

I like NCLs, Carnival and Cunard. I also liked Royal Vikings. The worst has to be Sitmar's right before it went out of business. It looked like a snake. I also agree that Celebrity's is pretty bad.

Celebrity and Fantasy looks very similar.

Thats not a problem anymore though.

Cunard's Logo is what i'd class as beautiful - The lion is so proud!

Seabourn Also has a nice Logo.

Paddy - QE2 no longer display's the lion on her superstructure.

My personal favorites: Princess "sea witch" and Royal Viking Line's old "bird". They are both flowing, elegant, symbols. I also really like Royal Caribbean's crown and anchor and Crystal Cruises' sea horses.

Personally, I hate NCL's. Its just a square with their letters. Very boring. I think they should use some variation of Star Cruises' "star" logo. Perhaps transform it into a compass with "NCL" in the middle... Not only is the square logo boring, but you can not see it well on the ship's funnel. Along with new owners, new ships, and new cruise concepts- NCL needs a new logo.

[by the way, I agree about Millennium's poor paint scheme and logo- very unbecoming.]

Peter P, the reason why Celebrity Cruises and Fantasy Cruises have a simular logo is because it was the same company ! Both lines were / are owned by Chandris Cruises, Greece. The X stands for the Greek letter "ch" which should simply mean Chandris.
Now, Fantasy Cruises has ceased operations and the head-line Chandris Cruises belongs to Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.
