My fiance and I are thinking of taking the Royal Olympic Voyager cruise for our honeymoon in November. We wanted to know how people's experiences with the cruise line are in general, as the Voyager has not yet made it's maiden voyage. We were also wondering about the age range of passengers on the ships. Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

I worked for Sun Lines for a number of years and they still offer a good product. However, be aware that they still appeal to an older, more mature crowd. There are not many honeymooners onboard unless they are second or third time around, at least not on the Stella Solaris.
Saying that, I believe that the Voyager will attract a younger clientele and it's going to be a great ship. I've always found that even when the majority of the guests are older, the younger couples have a great time on board with them and the dinner conversation is always good and interesting , as they have lots of experiences and advice to pass on.

I cruised on the Stella Solaris in March for 10 days. I had a wonderful time. Waiters, Cabin Steward, Food, Passengers, Shows were all fabulous. I agree that it has a mainly older crowd, but I'm 42, still like to have a good time and I did. Stayed up till 2-3 in the morning just about every night. Up early the next day ready to go again. Met up with people my age and younger, We all had a great time together. Went out in Cozumel one night. That was great. So I think your cruise is what you make it. I would go again in a minute even if I didn't know where we were going. I had that good a time. Happy cruising.

I also cruised on the Stella Solaris last year, and I agree that, although it has a mainly older crowd, everything was great. I would travel with them again without second thought.

Royal Olympic has a GREAT cruise line. Their speciality is the Greek Isles. The VOYAGER is going to be awesome, it will be the fastest, allowing her to do the THREE CONTINENT CRUISE in only 7 Days. I have a group who will be on her in October. As far as age goes, cruise lines are no longer all young or all old.
