"Putting the Romance back in cruising"
Romance Cruises, a new line selling timeshare cruises, is set up in the US with the purchase by Exa International from Greek interests of the former SEA HARMONY, laid up since the demise of Regency Cruises. The ship will be renamed ROMANCE II and the line claims it will buy up to seven more ships. The first will cruise in Alaska (summer 2001), the Caribbean (winter 2001/2002) and Mediterranean (summer 2002).
Other ships to be operated by this line are the AEGEAN SPIRIT and the PRIMEXPRESS ISLAND which are currently cruising for Golden Sun Cruises and Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company / Primexpress Tours.

Now its truly official. EXA International, the developers and backers of Romance Cruises and the timeshare at sea concept signed a letter of intent to charter the Island Adventurer (last known as Enchanted Capri). See their website for ship information.

Something is wrong in your information, Homelines.
The ISLAND ADVENTURE is the former KAZAKHSTAN which is cruising under charter of New SeaEscape Cruises.
The ENCHANTED CAPRI although is the former AZERBAYDZHAN, owned by Norsong Shipping Company. This vessel operated for short time as the ISLAND HOLIDAY once. I guess that it´s the second ship you mean since BLASCO is currently negotiating about a new charter.

Romatic Cruise Line - check out their website at http://www.cruiseshares.com/
Previously announced first vessel to coemmence cruising in October, was the ROMANCE II - ex Regent Star/Rhapsody/Statendam - now the vessel is called ROMANTIC II, ships details are no longer available on the website and the first cruise slated for January 2002. The slogan of the company "never ending cruise-vacation" should really be "never-ending-sorrow".
Consider: why should you buy a share in a over four year old vessel for $20.000 and pay an annual maintenance fee of $700??? when you can cruise on a modern vessel for less???? and not having to pay a huge amount upfront?
To invest in this scheme is reminiscent of a Ponsi scheme, Tulip mania and not to foget the Internet bubble!!!
This company/ships will never sail. I feel very sorry for those who have bought shares.
Do yourselves a big favour and STAY AWAY!!!
