There is a vast price differential (30%) between the dollar-prices in Deilmann's American brochure and the DM/Euro-prices on their primary (German) website.
The Virginia office, naturally enough, claims that North Americans can only book through them at the dollar prices. But two European travel agents have said they'd be happy to book me at the European rate.
Obviously one side or the other is making statements that, to put it politely, are not consistent with reality. Has anyone from the US on this board booked at European prices? Through whom did you do it?
Thanks for the help.
I can tell you that I recently toured the MS Deutschland at Dover and wow, what a ship!
Can you give me some details about what made it wow-worthy? Differences from other ultra-luxury ships, etc.

When I toured her, I was not disappointed! I liked the 'Grand Hotel' style a lot, rather than the Las Vagas 'glitz' that is featured on mny ships.

If you do cruise on her, please return to cruisetalk and let us know how it went. You could write a review for us, if you wish?
I seem to recall that there is already a review in our 'Readers Review' section of this ship? (See menu left)
