It has been a while since I looked at the Fred. Olsen web site and I can report that it is much improved.

There are excellent 'virtual' (360 Degree) tours of the thee Olsen Ships. It is surprising how many public rooms these small ships have.

It's agood way to pass an hour away!

Thanks fro the tip Malcolm, somehow I haven’t visited the FO site in a while. I while back I requested a CD Rom of the three ships and they had some nice footage of exterior and interior. Don’t know if you can still order the CD? Last year I was invited on the Black Watch and I think for people who want to get in touch with a real cruise experience are in the right place. Whit her intimate feeling she does not feel tiny and cramped.

Hi,
Black Watch arrived this afternoon in Antwerp, and as I sit here, I can see her now, resplendent and full of light at the quays in the Center of Antwerp.

I will try to post some pictures I took of her arrival, when I know how...

The Black Watch is an absolutely charming little ship. She has a surprising number of public rooms and plenty of deck space, too.

In fact she has everything that you could ever need onboard a ship, apart from a rock climbing wall and an ice skating rink!

I sometimes think that it is a pity that the biggest ships get all of the attention.

How times have change-28,000 ton ship is considered 'little'. I guess it really is in these days of 100,000 plus mega ships. To think that during the post war years, most steamship lines built mostly 20,000 to 30,000 ton ships. Black Watch is really a modern classic.
