Our last cruise on the Glory seemed to almost discourage dancing. Other than the hip hop in the disco, no other venues were available.

Rich and Malcolm summed it up pretty well. By contrast On a Royal Carribean repo cruise with most passengers over 50, the disco was empty every night.
Rembrandterdam's Queens Lounge has the ambience. SSNorway's ghastly NordKapp Lounge compensated with a really good 12 piece band.
QM2's G32 and Queens Lounge are opposite each other. Queens Lounge closes at midnight when G32 gets started. The later it gets the racier the dancing gets in G32.
The Queens Lounge "Black and White" party starts after 2nd seating finishes. Princess has ballroom dancing during both dinner seatings.
