From HAL (seriously...):

Recycled Percussion was the highest-placed non-singing act on “America’s Got Talent” and has enjoyed extended runs at both the MGM Grand and Tropicana in Las Vegas. Their fast-paced, highly interactive, audience-participation and family-friendly shows involve lots of drumming on objects ranging from 12-foot-tall ladders to low-tech drum kits suspended upside-down at center stage as well as sounds produced by household appliances (vacuum cleaners, fans) and power tools (circular saws, drills).

“Recycled Percussion currently is one of Las Vegas’ hottest acts, and we’re excited to bring them on board our ships,” said Richard Meadows, executive vice president, marketing, sales and guest programs for Holland America Line. “This exciting show has been a big hit with our guests and is a unique type of entertainment experience in the industry.”

Recycled Percussion sailed recently on the first of five exclusive Caribbean cruises they will perform on, sailing roundtrip Fort Lauderdale on ms Nieuw Amsterdam on Nov. 18 and Dec. 2, and ms Westerdam on Nov. 25. Upcoming cruises include ms Westerdam on Dec. 9 and ms Nieuw Amsterdam on Dec. 16.

Upon entering the ship’s main show lounge, audience members receive a drumstick and a special instrument to join in creating the music and energy that has made Recycled Percussion Las Vegas’ most interactive act. The band showcases their extreme talents while featuring a variety of musical genres, from rock n’ roll to today’s hits.

To accommodate the show, Holland America installed the elaborate “Great Wall of Percussion,” a suspended 3,000-pound set that has four drum kits created from cans and recycled buckets. The band is strapped into seats at the drum kits and perform as the wall rotates from upright to upside-down.

I would bet that most of those hairbands are old enough to collect Social Security now

I know Vegas goes through it's fads when it comes to entertainment, but I am seriously sick of these type of acts...Though the wife loves them.
