After the Rotterdam was the focus point in some negative news last week victim of the political game in The Hague. This week some positive news came out. Rotterdam local TV station RTV Rijnmond is started with a series of short programs surrounding the last months of the renovation and refitting the Rotterdam.

Yesterday the first aired and some interesting news came out.

* The owners are in talk with other investors about the sale of parts of the Rotterdam. The deal/contract include that the Rotterdam must stay in Rotterdam fore at least 30 years.

* The Rotterdam is now complied to AL safety regulations within Dutch law.

* Installation of technical equipment is started.

* Within 2 months the first decks will be ready fore delivery back to the owners fore fitting out of the furniture.

* All davids are back on board and late December they will hoisted back on board.

Woonbron (Housing company), which is the 100% owner of De Rotterdam BV (ship owner) is obliged to sell at least 80 % of their interest in the ship before the end of this year.
