A few CT'ers own lifejackets from liners of the past. Perhaps this may be an interesting additon to the collection.

Picture from the BBC site linked to above. Worn by a model, but signed by 12 survivers.

I don't know. I am probably alone in this but it almost seems wrong to make money off of something like that.

I agree w/Cunard Fan. It just is the fact that so many people wore the same style jacket and did not survive. Also a little creepy having that smiling woman model it.

While I wouldn't personally be interested in it I would bet I'm not the only person on this board who owns a piece of coal from the wreck site. Every one of the poor souls who shoveled it were lost keeping the power on to the end.

There where survivors among the stockers. They came from the first boiler rooms who flooded shortly after the collision. But the casualty among the boiler and engine department was very high. I think the highest of anybody a/b passengers/crew.
