Well, in response to the thread about what ships do you wnat to cruise on, we've booked on the SS Independance the end of February. I read the review and I look forward to it. Any suggestions? Any one else going? Let me know.

i work for a dept. store and i had
a customer tell me she was just on
the INDEPENDENCE and she had a great
time.

Keep in mind that the Independence is a very old ship in today's market. The attraction at American Hawaii is not the ship, but the ports.

That said, the Independence is a fine old historic ship, well-maintained, with a pleasant all-American crew.
