This photo is dedicated to all ocean liner lovers, specially the Italians.

Too bad that ships nowadays aren't built like her anymore. My favorite Italian ship are the REX and the CONTE DI SAVOIA, but she's my favorite post-war Italian ocean liner.

gorgeous shot...and she was ALMOST as pretty as the CRISTOFORO COLOMBO (my favorite ship ever) and her twin ANDREA DORIA... but the LEONARDO WAS my Godfather's favorite ship to command...

I sailed on her twice when growing up. The first time was in 1968 and the second in 1972, my last cruise until 1999. What a wonderful ship, crew and dining room.

paulo i sailed on galileo and marconi and you can see the resemblance, i cant explain it but its like looking at abeautiful woman. patrick tell me is it true the russians based their ivan franko class ships on the design of leonardo.
