I hope you like, it was a great feeling seeing the QE2 pass as the sun was rising i can tell you

QM2 and QE2 will not be together again in any port until April 16, 2005 in Southampton. After that it will be sometime in 2006 at the earliest (unless QM2's November 2005 refit is carried out in Southampton.)

It seems that Cunard are keeping them apart, since there are numerous occasions in 2005 when QM2 and QE2 are scheduled to be in the same port one day apart ....once in New York in September 2005, the rest in Southampton.

Is it just me or is the 3/4 stern view of QM2 not her best angle? QE2 as always looks fanatstic from most angles, but QM2..I guess I just have to get use to her.

thanks for the info... it was lucky i got up early because come the afternoon thousands thronged the Hythe side of the water but the QE2 did not pass the QM2 as expected, it was a real shame... interesting what you've mentioned about the 'keeping apart'.

cheers

LuKe; Your photos a great, I was commenting on QM2's 3/4 stern design. From the air the 3/4 view of lidos look quite attractive, but from sea level, I am trying to learn the like her.

Wow, you just discovered this? It has already been the topic of much discussion. Many of us have agreed from day 1 that QM2's aft end is not her most attractive side. As much as I love QM2, she does look like a block from certain angles.

It the aft suites were removed and the decks better tiered, I think QM2's aft end would be far more attractive.... and the aft decks much more user friendly for the passengers.
