Her fares in general are still more expensive than any other ship that carries 2500 – 3000 people. For example you can get a balconly cabin on a 'Voyager' class for approximately 60% of the cost of a Inside cabin on QM2
Thw QM2's top suites must be the most expensive afloat? Therefore the fact that she still commands premium rates, her load averages must be very good.

On the transatlantic service I`ve seen real bargins, but not on the QM2`s cruises.
This should indicate a better load factor on the cruises then on the transatlantic route.

For example a six night crossing in August 11th, 06 will cost you from £1049 to £14,249 GBP per person. The lowest price being an inside cabin and the highest being a Grand Duplex. At the lower end that is almost £175 per day, but return airfare is included, tips and insurance extra.
If you want a basic balconly cabin, the price is £1449 (£800 more than an inside for a couple). It you want to upgrade to 'Princess Grill' you will need to pay a whopping £2609 each (£3120 more per couple than an inside cabin). These prices are not my idea of cheap, especially when you remember that it is only 6 nights, not 7 or 8.
Lower fares are of course available for off-season. Cruises may well be priced lower than 'crossings' on occasions.
However, if you have the money she is well worth it.

$3200 is a lot of money for six nights, but a good deal by Cunard standards! However the Cunard web sites (USA) has a price of $4749 for the P2 grade in October?

If you called to book it, they will give it to you for $3200.00.
