A preliminary brochure from 1979 has a huge artist's rendering of her in white, also, but the image unfolds to nearly 4 feet in length and cannot be scanned!

You almost gave me a heart attack! It's not that the "Norway" would have looked too bad in the white livery, but she's so much more beautiful with a blue hull. I'm glad they kept the paint scheme from her "France" days, which accenturated the sheer lines and even superimposed them. It added to the ship's grace.

NCL did build some of their own: DREAMWARD & WINDWARD came out in '92 & '93, and were later stretched. NCL also built NORWEGIAN SKY (originally planned to be a sister to COSTA VICTORIA, which would have been called COSTA OLYMPIA.) They built NORWEGIAN SUN; I forget when Star came into the picture, around that time I guess, and implemented their tremendous new-build program.
