Some statements on the linked page are not correct.

Maybe this link is more helpful than a lengthly posting. It is not too detailed but also not difficult to read. (see the chapters on stability and seakeeping)
Also, there should be a lot on the net concerning relevant basic physics konwledge like harmonic oscillators (dampening, parametric excitation etc.) gyroscopes, airfoils etc.

That is the info I need. Ernst, you apparantly have more knowledge of this subject than many on the board, os that is why I ask.

No kidding but very similar to the my first and only time on Madagascar out of Durban, shame, it was her first and last as well and she still sits at N shed waiting...............
