The QM2's horns are so much deeper in tone than Sapphire, a baritone compared to a soprano.

See her fake 'steam' coming out of the horns.

I like QM2s horns but for some reason I think QE2s are even more impressive. They just seem deeper and even more unique.

The QM2 is much more impressive then the other two. I like the way in the second video it looks like who ever was holding the camera jumped when the first horn went off. 2 questions. Why was the horn on the saphire princess going on so long? And also when the QM2 met the QM1 I noticed that even though the QM2 had one of the original QM horns that they still sounded different. Why was this?

That was funny. Some people just have way too much free time. I felt like I was watching the MTV show "Jackass." Where did he even get all those horns on his truck from, a shipyard? I'm guessing he must have some kind of industry exposure.

Yea, I love the sound of ship horns too, but a whole website, and a truck dedicated to them....thats a little extreme. Ill stick to Youtube and taking video clips.

Could be the amount of air pressure. Also the horns on QM were originally steam powered and converted to air after her retirement-I think the air pressure may be lower as she does not have the same deep tone as the newer ship. Could be the residents of Long Beach asked that the horn not be as loud when it sounds at 12:00 noon every day. QM2 uses one original restored horn as well as a new reproduction that are both air powered.

I think the horns of QE2 and QM2 are fantastic. However, I feel the horns of the Voyager/Freedom-class of Royal Caribbean are right up there with the best:
