One of the things that's interesting about the booklet is the blurb on the title page. It states that the photographs were taken on board the ships (obviously!) and 'in color'. Perhaps they could fool folks in 1926 but, today, we know better. As Rich states, they were simply colorized black and white shots; but, in fairness, it's some of the best colorization I've ever seen.
Rich, I'm sure you and I have the same lot of brochures and, now that you mention it, they are all black and white (or color renderings).

Some images are not as well colorized as others but some are fantatsic. The different shades of the tapestry upholstery and the reflection of the water in the pool are excellent. The wood paneling near the pool looks colorized but the rest of the space was very well done.
