As QM2 left for her 2008 refit in Bremerhaven, she said good bye to the QE2 for the very last time...

An historic and quite sad occasion.

Beautiful pictures. But it might not be their last meeting. I would imagine the QM2 might make it to Dubai for a visit.

Lovely photos. She might do Thad, but she won't be able to get near enough to QE2 for a picture with their hulls together.

Thanks, Cunard Fan. I wish they'd fix the end. Mary does need liposuction though to look as sleek as Lizzie.

Pam, I'll tell my dad you liked the sailing ones. I sent a couple to my crew member who remarked Lizzie looks like she's on fire! The weather was glorious. Shame it turned suddenly on Sunday. We blasted a total of 10 times but my dad only got 7 from the marina. It was amazing.

Great photos Andrew and Patsy. Thanks again. I still think they have not gotten the true Cunard red color on Mary's funnel. With the two so close together, it's easy to see the Mary's is still more crimson than red/orange as on Lizzie. Anyone else notice?
