All I see is some big Princess ship. No way to move the cam to show the Oceanic or back up the images?

OCEANIC was quite visible about an hour ago--they must have moved her farther back, to the left, out of camera range.

For those of you who are interested, here are some Oceanic pictures from yesterday. I was not early or late enough to catch her arrival or departure. If you can't access them, my apologies in advance.

I compared the port of call with the schedule HERE.

Was the route changed? I know there was trouble in NY... and now she is some days later?

I ask because I would like to see her in Kusadasi during her next cruise... Do you know if there will be changes??

Thank you very much! Would be interesting for me, because I am shortly before my booking ...

Joe -it's OK - they are part of the FaceBook album so folks can see them there...

I just checked the Pacific Gateway Portal and it looks like Oceanic moved berths at around 2pm and has no scheduled departure time (while Hanseatic is showing a departure of midnight. I had the pleasure of touring this ship about 11 years ago in Halifax - am sure she's been refurbished since then -but she was a beautiful little ship back then.

I was out at the North end of the Lions Gate Bridge at around 6-6:30 AM to see her arrive on Monday ... a spectacular sight!

Later I went down to Canada Place and was pleasantly surprised that, despite her length, I was able to get her all in the frame and just had to wait for the Sun to swing around so that her port side would be lit up (she had backed into her berth) ... And it was in sunshine - for about 15 seconds - then the shadow of the new 40 story Fairmont Hotel tower creeped across her stern. GRRRRRRR!

Anyways, I was surprised to hear that she was still here this morning, so I raced downtown just in time to get pictures of her being moved to the North Berth at around 2 PM to make room for the Volendam, arriving tomorrow.

I asked someone in the cruise terminal why the Oceanic was still here and the guy said that she was undergoing "technical repairs" ... he didn't know any of the specifics but later I saw that she was belching a lot of smoke from her funnel, alternating between white and black. That in itself is not unusual, but I was surprised at the amount of smoke pouring from her funnel.

I guess it could be nothing as the Oceanic can't get power from the shore while berthed like Princess's or Holland America's ships do so her engines are running all the time.

Anyways, hope the problem isn't too serious. maybe she'll leave tomorrow at a decent time and I can get some shots of her from the seawall!

Sorry for the rambling post...

Regards, Kaiser

This link http://www.peaceboat.org/cruise/66th/map.html posted by Maru in another thread may help. She was supposed to leave Vancouver yesterday, but I imagine her arrival date back in Japan is locked in.

Don't forget that you actually can contact Peaceboat - that's probably the most reliable information you can get. However, with a ship like her you have to expect some changes - I waited for hours at New York only to learn that she would 'leave' the next day.
