...RMS Queen Elizabeth 2 left New York for Southampton for the last time ... a bittersweet night I will never forget. She may face an uncertain future now, but whatever happens, I will always remember her as the great, proud lady she was for 39 years and still was then. i remember sitting in the queens room during the lifeboat drill and seeing you guys floating off the stern waiting for our departure.... cant believe its a year ago already....
