The ship to be used should be Louis Cruises' THE EMERALD:

Hi

According to the AIS ship position maps today ' The Emerald ' remains in Greece.

The ' Ocean Star Pacific ' has not operated any cruises since having air conditioning problems last year.

Looking at the website they have both Ocean Star Pacific and Emerald listed. Prehaps the sale of Emerald could not be completed (or at least not in time) and Ocean Star Pacific was available for charter since her problems and lay up last year.

Hi Maru,
Perhaps the organizers should have considered the SS Oceanic beforehand as their charter vessel instead of the other two ships mentioned.

In my opinion, the only way that the SS Oceanic can be saved is for the vessel have another charter service with someone else until a long term business plan to use her as a hotel ship can be established.
