The above photos are excellent and the video, thanks. Maybe Andrew has some. I did not get there until late in the morning when the good weather enjoyed earlier was quickly disappearing and the QUEENS by then spread out at their individual berths. QM2 was still wearing the "Congratulations Ma'am" banner, but that disappeared sometime before the scheduled Red Arrows display, which unfortunately had to be cancelled, due to the appalling weather. I was surprised they were not dressed for the occasion, even Red Eagle has a Union flag on her funnel.

More morning photos

It rained heavily all afternoon with strong winds, but many braved the elements to join in the events at Mayflower Park. Drowned rats would have been well at home. The activities still went ahead, with bands, stalls, food outlets and funfair. One could barely see QUEEN VICTORIA and QM2 and QUEEN ELIZABETH were not much clearer.

More pictures at Mayflower Park. I also took a few short clips to show how the weather did not seem to deter the public's enthusiasm, here. Mostly with lens covered in water.
