I am a 13-year old myself. Unfortunately, I will be in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania when you are going on the SS Norway Transatlantic. After that, it will become a Star Cruises Ship.

Anyway, you might want to try RoyalCarribean International's Voyager of the Seas. It has many things kids would love. It even has a fast food restaraunt. You don't ahve to have them dress up, do you?

Have a nice time,
Jesse

I cruised on the Norway this past summer with a 9 year old daughter and a 12 year old son. If you would like any info, please let me know, I may be able to pass on something of use to you.

A little, from what I saw, they were very nice with a lot of room. Also, great access to the pool. The ship was great for the kids as it was very easy for them to find their way around with the signs and all. It became a game for my younger daughter for her to tell us how to get from point a to point b. With the kids program, we could enjoy some time to ourselves, but felt confident enought after a few days to say, meet us at such and such place at a particular time and they would do it. We also took along the FRS radios, that we used on occassion and were pretty cool. I was a little disappointed in the kids program as it seemed that every time I peeked in on my 12 year old, they were watching a movie. The nine year old seemed to be active every time I looked in on them.

They thoroughly enjoyed our two waiters. However, with this ridiculous new policy that NCL has adopted, I imagine you won't get to know your waiters at all.

One other point. You can purchase a kids refillable cup at the beginning of the cruise. This worked great because I don't think they could have survived the entire 7 days without soda.

That's all I can think of now. We did a snorkeling excursion that was very neat and the kids loved it. Great experience. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Strat
