Looking over excursions available by Celebrity. They have a tour of La Soufriere and the Pitons by catamaran and bus -- about $68.00 per person. Has anyone been on this tour or a recommendation of what we should do in St. Lucia? We arrived at 8 am and depart 5 pm.

My wife and I went on the same tour a year ago! I would highly recommend it.You get to see alot of the island that you wouldn't normally see,including an active volcano and beautiful scenery.We went to Marigot Bay where Doctor Dolittle was filmed and went swimming.This was all included.The land part of the tour is pretty long and there are alot of winding roads,but it wasn't all that bad.They stop and let you have a breather every so often.Hope this helped,Happy cruising.Bill H.

We did this tour with Norwegian Cruise Lines. The tour was great!! Much better taking the catamaran to that part of the island since the roads are so bad. We had an enjoyable day even though my sister got sick - too much sun (bring a hat and sunscreen). The crew on the catamaran were very helpful and concerned. The luncheon they served - jerked chicken and salads - was delicious! They stopped at a beach for swimiming on the way back to Castries. (warning - don't leave your stuff unattended on the beach). Have a great time!!
