I've paid for a cruise on the Big Red Boat III. 7 days from Houston to Mexico. My objectives are to sit in a chair and look at the sea, eat without having to cook, lay on the beach, swim and read two books. Ive read the reviews and they seem so negative. With my objectives in mind is the Big Red Boat going to adequately meet my objectives? Thanks in advance for your thoughts!!!

Barring the minimal chance of disasters, a cruise is what you make of it. If you look for things to ruin it...be assured, you'll find them. If you go thinking this is going to be the best, most relaxing vacation - you'll find that, too! (As long as the ship sails...)

Enjoy it!! (I, too, was a boringsinglestressedgal in March before my Carnival cruise. If I had listened to everything I had read about the Holiday, I would have been sitting at home and not have been able to enjoy my trip so much!!)

Very nice pictures Larry. Your underwater shots were super. What kind of a camera did you use to shoot them. We used a Kodak Underwater Throw Away Camera one time, but the pictures were not very good. Yours were so clear and you could actually see the fish.
BSSG - Have a great trip and a good rest. Nothing like getting on a ship with a good book and finding a deck chair in a place where no one can bother you.
