Has anyone heard of a hotel in San Juan called the Panama Princess? It's supposed to be near the port and runs about $98.00 a night. I think someone is pulling my leg on this one.!! The guy says he is staying there Feb. 16th and will bring me back a brochure from the hotel. The hotels that i've looked at online are in the $250.00 - $450.00 a night range. WHOA!! A bit expensive don't ya think??

That hotel is a Comfort Inn Called The Tanama Princess ....near the AIRport. Still waiting on a report from this guy I know that stayed there last week.

I'm staying at the tanama princess in 3weeks I'm paying 98.00 AAArate for the night before my cruise. from what i hear it is nice let me know what your friend says abuot it

The reports I have read about the Tanama Princess (Comfort Inn) on aol travel have not been very good to say the least. Another fairly inexpensive alternate would be the Radisson Ambssador on the Condado. Depending when you are going... around 129-139 pn. Also from time to time... you can get some decent rates at the Caribe Hilton.

Funny thing about San Juan... either you pay directly to the hotel.... or you pay the cab drivers..

I've stayed at the Wyndahm OSJ and the Caribe Hilton.. both are okay. I stayed at the Ritz out by the airport. Never again. It was like sleeping on the tarmac it was so noisey and the food was terrible.
