My husband and I are taking our first cruise next month, to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We're going on the Aug. 5 "Scandinavian Capitals" cruise with NCL, on the Norwegian Dream. I've been browsing the various topics, and have learned a lot, but would like to know if any of you have taken this cruise in the past few years, on this ship. If so, any pointers to help make the experience as trouble-free as possible?

I did this Cruise last in 1999, in August on "Century" of Celebrity Cruises, which is better than the NCL Ships.

The Cruise is interesting.

If you write your Destinations, i can give you some Advice what to do.

Well, we hope we'll enjoy the Norwegian Dream ... it sounds nice, and we got a pretty good price. I'll post about the ship, etc., some time after we return on August 19.

We're going to have overnight stays in St. Petersburg and Copenhagen, day stops at Talinn, Stockholm, Helsinki and Oslo. Any suggestions will be appreciated, although we've picked out a few excursions, especially in St. Petersburg (where we didn't want to try getting around on our own!).
