Dover greets Ocean Roses!
After a gruesome 5 hours train trip, my shiploving needs were satisfied to find Ocean Monarch already belching in Dover as she prepared to sail with Saga Rose. If only the weather was better! Anybody could have seen the departure live on the Dover webcam as OM sailed unusually towards the Eastern entrance!
21 Sept:-I rushed to the port in time to see Prinsendam & Astor sail during a rapid nightfall.
22 Sept image 15:- At precisely 3.10pm, I was waving at Waverley from Eastbourne pier! The photos was then taken, unaware that she wasn't stopping at all...just pausing for the dozen people who, like myself, didn't check the net or call...{%-{ We had a drink together (Coke only for me) in consolation as someone confirmed the state of Eastbourne Pier.
